Retinol-Binding Protein 4 (RBP4) is a physiological carrier of retinol (vitamin A) in blood, delivering retinol from the liver to peripheral tissues.RBP4 ligand-1 has the ability to disrupt the RBP4-TTR protein-protein interaction (hRPB4-TTR). The RBP4-TTR FRET IC₅₀ is 0.13±0.12 μM in FRET assay^[1].
