Saccharothrixin F is a highly oxygenated saccharothrixin, with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities^[1].

In Vitro

Saccharothrixin F (Compound 3) shows antibacterial activity against Helicobacter pylori with a MIC value of 32 μg/mL. Saccharothrixin F also revealed anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting the production of NO with an IC₅₀ value of 28 μM^[1].
