DEAE-Cellulose
Based on 1 Customer Validation
DEAE-Cellulose (Diethylaminoethyl cellulose) is a positively charged weakly basic cellulose anion exchanger. DEAE-Cellulose exhibits gold recovery activity as well as heparin binding/release activity. DEAE-Cellulose can also be used for the purification of proteins, enzymes and nucleic acids.

Biological Activity
DEAE-cellulose (20-40 g/L; 30 min) efficiently recovers gold from a synthetic gold chloride solution with a concentration of 50 ppm[1].
DEAE-Cellulose (10,000 units/100 mL; 120 min) shows an average heparin adsorption capacity of 32,830 units/m2[2] when incubated with heparin-containing glycine buffer.
