SYN1753
SYN1753 is a selective inhibitor of human neonatal Fc receptor (hFcRn) with a Kd value of 0.5 μM. SYN1753 binds to the albumin-binding site of hFcRn, inhibits the hFcRn-albumin interaction, and thereby suppresses FcRn-mediated transcytosis of human albumin. SYN1753 can be used in studies related to acetaminophen-induced liver injury.

SYN1753 is a specific peptide inhibitor of the human FcRn-albumin interaction that binds to the albumin-specific epitope on FcRn, with a Kd of 0.5 μM at pH 6.0[1].
SYN1753 inhibits hFcRn-mediated albumin transcytosis in polarized MDCK II cells[1].
SYN1753 (1 mM; 1 h) binds to a shared site on recombinant shFcRn/β2m molecules, forming a stable complex with intramolecular disulfide bonds and putative hydrogen bonds[1].
SYN1753 inhibits the transcytosis of human albumin in both basolateral-to-apical and apical-to-basolateral directions in MDCK II cells co-expressing hFcRn and hβ2m[1].
