UGM-IN-2
UGM-IN-2 is a UGM inhibitor with a Kd of 20 μM. It binds to the UGM isoforms of K. pneumoniae (Klebsiella pneumoniae) and M. tuberculosis (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and inhibits mycobacterial growth. UGM-IN-2 can be used in studies related to mycobacterial infections and tuberculosis.

UGM-IN-2 (the penultimate compound in Supplementary Document S12) is a UGM inhibitor. UGM, a flavin-dependent enzyme unique to microorganisms, catalyzes the ring isomerization of UDP‑Galp to UDP‑Galf. As a key enzyme in furanose galactose synthesis, it represents a potential target for anti-infective therapy[1].
