Biological Activity
Valylhistidine does not catalyze the dismutation of superoxide ion (O2−).Valylhistidine forms a copper(II) complex (Val-His-Cu2+) that acts as a tridentate ligand with three nitrogen atoms bound to the copper ion[1].
