(Z)-Corallopyronin A
(Z)-Corallopyronin A is an isomer of Corallopyronin A (HY-N11622). Corallopyronin A is a polyketide natural product derived from myxobacteria and acts as a bacterial RNA polymerase (RNAP) inhibitor with antibacterial activity. Corallopyronin A binds to the switch region of RNA polymerase and allosterically blocks the transcription initiation process. Corallopyronin A exhibits in vitro antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and the filarial endosymbiont Wolbachia. (Z)-Corallopyronin A can be used for research related to bacterial infections.

In Vitro
(Z)-Corallopyronin A is an isomer of Corallopyronin A (HY-N11622). Corallopyronin A (0.06-16 μg/mL; 24 h) inhibits the growth of laboratory strains and clinical isolates of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, with MICs ranging from 0.125-1.0 μg/mL[1].
(Z)-Corallopyronin A is an isomer of Corallopyronin A (HY-N11622). Corallopyronin A (0.25-8 μg/mL; 24-48 h) eradicates intracellular live Neisseria gonorrhoeae parasitizing primary human cervical epithelial (Pex) cells without obvious cytotoxicity to host cells[1].
(Z)-Corallopyronin A is an isomer of Corallopyronin A (HY-N11622). Corallopyronin A (4-8 μg/mL; 24-48 h) inhibits biofilm formation by multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae on biotic and abiotic surfaces and disrupts established mature biofilm structures[1].
(Z)-Corallopyronin A is an isomer of Corallopyronin A (HY-N11622). Corallopyronin A (0.125-2 mg/L; 24 h) inhibits the growth of 116 staphylococcal isolates (including MRSA, MSSA, and CNS), with MIC90 = 0.5 mg/L for S. aureus and MIC90 = 1 mg/L for CNS[3].
