Result:Achieved a mean liposome size of 169 nm (SD 78), a zeta potential of 8.2 mV, and a particle concentration of 1.5 × 1013 particles/mL.
Showed no decrease in vitreous concentration over 6 days.
Was not observed in the aqueous humor.
Resulted in a neural retina AUC of 2034 (ng*day)/g.
Achieved a neural retina-to-vitreous concentration ratio of 203.6% on day 0, 17.5% on day 1, and 4.0% on day 6.
Showed a maximum retinal bioavailability of 6-16%.
