Biological Activity
3,5-Dimethoxybenzaldehyde (0.8 mM) causes higher sensitivity in Aspergillus fumigatus MAPK mutants (sakAΔ and mpkCΔ) with 100% growth inhibition compared to the wild type[1].
3,5-Dimethoxybenzaldehyde (1.0-5.0 mM) inhibits the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cell wall integrity mutants (slt2Δ and bck1Δ), showing potent antifungal activity[2].
