In Vitro

3-decen-2-one (0.25-0.75 mmol kg-1 tuber fresh weight; 24 h) induces necrosis of peeping stage etiolated sprouts and suppresses subsequent sprout growth in 'Russet Burbank' potato tubers in a concentration-dependent manner[1].
