3-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid
Based on 1 Customer Validation
3-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid is a substituted nitrobenzoic acid and synthetic intermediate. 3-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid can serve as a starting material for acyloxy nitrobenzoic acid phospholipase A2 substrates, and also as a precursor and hydrolysis product of phospholipase A2 substrate esters, can provide a spectrophotometric signal in the form of nitrophenolate for monitoring phospholipase A2-catalyzed hydrolysis, and can be used in the preparation of BAPTA derivative chelators.
