5-DTAF
Based on 1 Customer Validation
5-DTAF is a fluorescein dye that directly react with polysaccharides and other alcohols in aqueous solution at pH >9. The maximum of the 5-DTAF emission profile is at a wavelength of 518 nm after excitation at 488 nm. 5-DTAF can be used for biomolecular labeling, protein detection, and cell imaging.

生物活性
5-DTAF (10-5 mol/L; 1 h) acts as a fluorescent competitor for atrazine binding to Fe3O4-chitosan-based MMIP, with supernatant fluorescence intensity increases linearly correlated to the logarithm of atrazine concentration over 2.32-185.4 μM, enabling Atrazine (HY-N7091) detection[1].
Guidelines (Following is our recommended protocol. This protocol only provides a guideline, and should be modified according to your specific needs).
Take cell labeling as an example:
(1) Wash the cells with PBS 3 times to remove serum and culture medium.
(2) Add serum-free medium containing 5-DTAF (1-5 μM), and incubate at 37°C in the dark for 30 minutes.
(3) Discard the staining solution, wash 3 times with preheated medium, and detect with a fluorescence microscope or flow cytometer.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
