6-Azidohexanoic acid
Based on 1 Customer Validation
6-Azidohexanoic acid is an azide-containing carboxylic acid. 6-Azidohexanoic acid can serve as an azide-containing fragment to conjugate with peptides, enabling click chemistry-based radiolabeling with [18F]FNPB. 6-Azidohexanoic acid acts as a starting material for the synthesis of biotin azide.

Biological Activity
6-Azidohexanoic acid serves as a synthetic precursor for Biotin Azide (6)[1].
6-Azidohexanoic acid is obtained by the reaction of 6-bromohexanoic acid with sodium azide in DMF[2].
6-Azidohexanoic acid can be conjugated with LARLLT and cRGDfK peptides via solid-phase synthesis, and the resulting conjugated peptides undergo efficient click labeling reactions with [18F]FNPB[2].
