Thionin acetate can be used for tissue staining, such as staining brainstem slices. Thionin acetate can assist in observing and analyzing the brainstem structure, determining the location of the preB?tC and the characteristics of related regions[2].
The brief steps of Thionin acetate staining are as follows: First, the tissue sections are sequentially treated with 70% ethanol, 50% ethanol, and distilled water, then immersed in the Thionin acetate solution. Subsequently, they are washed successively with distilled water and ethanol of different concentrations, and finally cleared in xylene to complete the staining for observation and analysis[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
