AKT-IN-21 (compound C36) is a potent AKT inhibitor with broad-spectrum cytotoxicity and anticancer activity. AKT-IN-21 also blocks the cell cycle and induces apoptosis of cancer cells by down-regulating the PI3K/AKT pathway[1].

In Vitro

AKT-IN-21 shows anti-proliferation inhibitory activity and cytotoxcity among serval cancer cells, with IC50s of 2.33 μM (LNCaP), 2.38 μM (K562), 1.98 μM (HepG2), 3.95 μM (LX-2), respectively[1].
