Biological Activity
Antibacterial agent 81 (20 μM; 15 min) inhibits DNA transcription with a 73% inhibition rate[1]. Antibacterial agent 81 (0-50 mM; 16-24 h) shows antibacterial activity towards S. aureus USA300, M. smegmatis ATCC14468, E. coli BW25113 and E. coli BW25113 ΔTolC with MIC values of 12.5, 7.8, >250, and >250 μM, respectively[1].
