Biological Activity
Antifungal agent 59 (compound A23) shows in vitro antifungal activity with MIC values of 0.02 μg/mL (Candida albicans), 0.01 μg/mL (Candida albicans), 0.25 μg/mL (Candida zeylanoides), 0.25 μg/mL (Cryptococcus neoformans), 0.06 μg/mL (Candida kruseii), 1 μg/mL (Candida glabrata), 0.02 μg/mL (Candida parapsilosis), and 1 μg/mL (Aspergillus fumigatus), respectively[1].
Antifungal agent 59 (0.02 μg/mL ;48 h) potently kills Candida albicans[1].
Antifungal agent 59 (1-16 μg/mL) shows hemolytic activity against rabbit red blood cells, with 93.47% hemolysis at concentrations of 8 μg/mL[1].
