Biological Activity
Aquastatin C does not inhibit purified S. aureus FabI, S. pneumoniae FabK, or M. tuberculosis InhA enzymes, with IC50 values >100 μM for all targets[1].
Aquastatin C does not inhibit the growth of S. aureus RN4220, methicillin-resistant S. aureus CCARM 3167, or S. pneumoniae KCTC 5412, with MIC values >128 μg/mL for all strains[1].
