Description

Alkaline phosphatase substrate is a chemiluminescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase. Alkaline phosphatase substrate can be used for enzyme-linked immunoassays[1].

In Vitro

Guide (Following is our recommended protocol. This protocol only provides a guideline, and should be modified according to your specific needs).
1. Mix the substance to be tested (phosphatase mimic) with the chemiluminescent substrate Alkaline phosphatase substrate (25 μM) in 20 mM HEPES buffer (pH 8.5).
2. Immediately measure the chemiluminescence intensity of the mixture at room temperature.

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
