Chamaemeloside
Chamaemeloside is a phenolic compound found in the flower heads of Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis, syn. Chamaemelum nobile). Chamaemeloside is not detected in German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) and Chrysanthemum morifolium samples.

Biologische Aktivität
Chamaemeloside (0.1-200 μg/mL; calibration standards) is present in Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) flower heads at concentrations of 0.117-1.718 mg/100 mg dry weight, and is absent from German chamomile (Matricaria recutita), Chrysanthemum morifolium, and all tested commercial chamomile-containing products[1].
