Biologische Aktivität
L-Altrose does not exist in nature, but it can be isolated from the extracellular polysaccharide of variant CF3 of the Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens strain[1].
L-Altrose can be chemically synthesized via the 5-epimerization of D-Galactose (HY-N0210) or D-fucose (HY-N5102)[2].
L-Altrose mainly degrades into 6-deoxy-α-L-altropyranose 1,3-cyclic phosphate during the synthesis of TDP-6-deoxy-α-L-altrose (a nucleotide derivative of L-Altrose)[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
