Setrusumab (100 mg/kg; i.v. once a week for 4 weeks) inhibits breast cancer-induced bone metastases and muscle weakness in mice^[1].

Animal Model:

8-week-old female immune-compromised CB-17/lcr-Prkdc^scid/Rj mice with MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells injection^[1]
Dosage:

100 mg/kg
Administration:

Intravenous injection; 100 mg/kg once a week for 4 weeks
Result:

Significantly inhibited tumor growth in bones and breast cancer cell dissemination into other organs. Inhibited breast cancer-induced osteolytic lesions and subsequent loss of bone mass of the distal femur and of the proximal tibia. Redued phosphorylation of IKKα, IKKβ, and p65.
