D-GlupNA can be hydrolyzed into glutamic acid and p-nitroaniline by γ-glutamyl transpeptidase derived from bovine kidney^[1].
D-GlupNA is consumed via Michaelis-Menten kinetics by γ-glutamyl transpeptidase derived from bovine kidney, and its hydrolysis is completely inhibited when the concentration of GlyGly is ≥ 50 mM^[1].
