Biological Activity
Diammonium phosphate increases the gene expression of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), increases the activity of LDH, thereby increasing the production of L-lactic acid in thermotolerant Bacillus coagulans[3].
Diammonium phosphate is a flame retardant that can be added to polymers or composites to improve their flame retardant properties. Diammonium phosphate catalyzes the dehydration of cellulose, promotes the formation of char and water, and thus reduces the formation of combustible materials[4].
