ATTO 590
ATTO 590 is a rhodamine-class fluorescent dye that can be used for labeling DNA, RNA, or proteins. ATTO 590 features strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and excellent thermal and photostability. ATTO 590 can be used in various technical detections such as single-molecule detection, flow cytometry (FACS), and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) (λabs/λem = 593-594/622-624 nM).

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
ATTO 590 is used as a single-molecule sample or label on the surface of nanobeads, and attached to the microtubule network of fixed PtK2 cells via immunolabeling, for imaging validation of polarization-modulated super-resolution microscopy (SPoD/ExPAN)[2].
ATTO 590-siRNA conjugates can be used for FRET live-cell imaging in rat brain endothelial cells (RBE4) to track the intracellular uptake and degradation of siRNA[1].
ATTO 590 complexed with oligonucleotides can be used to label open chromatin in fixed mouse hippocampal CA1 pyramidal neuron tissue sections (ATAC-see technique)[4].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
