Biological Activity
DMPE-PEG10000-Azide is used as a core component in the preparation of liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to encapsulate drugs or genes. Containing the Azide group, DMPE-PEG10000-Azide can undergo a copper-catalyzed azido-alkynylene cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo a ring-strain-driven alkynylene-azido cycloaddition reaction (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
