(E)-4-Stilbenol (compound 1) inhibits mycelial growth of Gloeophyllum trabeum with an IC₅₀ of 31 ppm, inhibits mycelial growth of Poria placenta with an IC₅₀ of 12 ppm, and does not inhibit mycelial growth of Coriolus versicolor with an IC₅₀ > 350 ppm^[1].
