AF594 DBCO
AF594 DBCO is an AlexaFluor 594-conjugated DBCO click chemistry probe for fluorescent labeling of azido-modified cholesterol probes. DBCO is a commonly used chemical biomarker group. AF594 DBCO (Excitation wavelength about 590 nm, emission wavelength about 617 nm) can be used to label proteins, cells and other biomolecules for fluorescence imaging and flow cytometry detection.

Biological Activity
AF594 DBCO efficiently click-labels azido-functionalized cholesterol probe in fixed COS-7 cells, with fluorescence intensity varying inversely with FBS concentration in the cholesterol probe treatment medium[1].
AF 594-DBCO enables nanoscale visualization of azido-functionalized cholesterol probe in COS-7 cells via TREx combined with Airyscan SR or SIM, resolving cholesterol aggregates as small as 36.5 nm and their colocalization with late endosomes/lysosomes[1].
AF 594-DBCO enables tracking of azido-functionalized cholesterol probe localization in COS-7 cells via 4× ExM, showing time-dependent colocalization with LAMP1-positive late endosomes/lysosomes and minimal colocalization with clathrin-coated pits[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
