Gopherenediol is a diterpenoid with putative antifeedant activity against Mammalian herbivores. Gopherenediol is the active compound in to form deterrent effect, protects gopherweed, Euphorbia lathyris (Euphorbiaceae) from feeding by Mammalian herbivores.
