HPPD-IN-16
HPPD-IN-16 is a potent HPPD inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.146 μM against AtHPPD. HPPD-IN-16 blocks HPPD enzymatic activity, interferes with the biosynthesis of plastoquinone and tocopherol, and causes plant death due to albinism resulting from the lack of photosynthetic pigments. HPPD-IN-16 can be used in herbicide research.

In Vitro
HPPD-IN-16 (compound I-5) inhibits AtHPPD with an IC50 of 0.146 μM in vitro[1].
HPPD-IN-16 (30-150 g a.i./ha; 24 days) exhibits excellent broad-spectrum herbicidal activity against various monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds (such as ECHCG, SETVI, DIGSA, AMARE, etc.) and selective safety to peanut[1].

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay
Cytotoxicity assays are usually based on the assessment of cell membrane damage, which can also be indirectly detected by measuring cell viability. Detection methods include MTT assay, CKK-8 assay, LDH assay and ATP assay, etc.
