Biological Activity
IL10 is a cytokine mainly produced by monocytes and also produced in small amounts by lymphocytes. IL10 has pleiotropic effects in immune regulation and inflammation. It downregulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC II class antigens, and co-stimulatory molecules in macrophages. It can also enhance the survival, proliferation, and antibody production of B cells.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
