MCE® Cooling Rack can be used to prevent enzymes from becoming inactive as well as for PCR sample preparation, sample transport, and to slow thawing of frozen samples throughout your entire lab workflow.
Description & Advantages
• Eliminates contamination risk of melting ice baths.
• Accommodates 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL tubes.
• When the MCE® Cooling Rack is placed in an incubation box at an ambient temperature of ≤ 25°C, it maintains micro tubes at 0-4°C for up to 5 hours (The central slot in the Cooling Rack retains cold longer than the edge slots).
• Prefreeze in an upside down position for more than 12 hours (Overnight is better) at -20°C.
Note: To ensure the Cooling Rack is thoroughly frozen, please avoid frequently opening the cooling compartment.
• Snaps together easily for convenient organization.
• MCE®Cooling Rack can even snap together with the MCE®Tube Rack and easily used for your experiments.
