Isoxadifen-ethyl
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Isoxadifen-ethyl is a Herbicide safener that reduces herbicide toxicity to crops. Isoxadifen-ethyl enhances maize tolerance to Nicosulfuron (HY-B1876) by regulating detoxification gene expression; it reduces the phytotoxicity and damage induced by Cyhalofop-butyl (HY-B0861) in rice. Isoxadifen-ethyl is applicable to herbicide-related research.

Biological Activity
Isoxadifen-ethyl (33 mg/L; 24 h) significantly upregulates the expression levels of ZmGSTIV, ZmGST6, ZmGST31 and ZmMRP1 in the leaves of maize cultivar Zhenghuangnuo 2, while downregulating the expression of ZmGSTIII and ZmGST27[1].
Isoxadifen-ethyl (33 mg/L; 24 h) significantly upregulates the expression levels of ZmGSTIV, ZmGST6, ZmGST31 and ZmMRP1 in leaves of maize variety Zhengdan 958, while downregulating the expression levels of ZmGSTIII, ZmGST27 and ZmGT1[1].
Isoxadifen-ethyl (33 mg/L; 4-48 h) significantly upregulates the expression levels of ZmGSTIV, ZmGST6, ZmGST31 and ZmMRP1 in the leaves of maize varieties Zhenghuangnuo 2 and Zhengdan 958[1].
Isoxadifen-ethyl acts as a broad-spectrum, multi-crop herbicide safener that protects maize and rice from phytotoxicity induced by Foramsulfuron (HY-W422402), Mesotrione (HY-12853), Isoxaflutole (HY-116139) and fenoxaprop-P-ethyl[2].
Isoxadifen-ethyl (compound 1) (50-100 μM; 5 d) effectively alleviates the phytotoxicity of Cyhalofop-butyl (HY-B0861) to cultivated rice seedlings in agar-based assays, with a plant height recovery rate of 95.86% and a fresh weight recovery rate of 89.87%[3].
