CHIKV-IN-3
CHIKV-IN-3 is a potent against two low-passage CHIKV inhibitor with EC50 values of 1.55 and 0.14 μM for CHIKV-122508 and CHIKV-6708, respectively. CHIKV-IN-3 acts on the host cells to interfere with the viral replication. CHIKV-IN-3 displays minimal cytotoxic liability (CC50>100 μM). Prophylactic effect.

CHIKV-IN-3 (compound (E)-42; HeLa CCL2 cells; 0.1-100 μM; 24 hours) inhibits the Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) replication with an EC50 of 1.55 μM and demonstrates low cytotoxicity (CC50=129.6 μM)[1]. CHIKV-IN-3 (HeLa CCL2 cells; 20, 40, 80 μM; 24 hours) shows the highest degree of inhibition with approximately 3.9-log reduction in viral titre (ca. 99.99% inhibition) at 80 μM[1].
