6-Methoxyquinoline consists of a quinoline ring system with a methoxy group attached to the sixth carbon atom. This compound occurs naturally in certain plants, such as tobacco and tea, and has been shown to have biological activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antitumor properties.
