Apo6619
Apo6619 is an iron chelator with antibacterial activity that inhibits a variety of common bacteria associated with hospital-acquired infections. Apo6619 inhibits the growth of relevant bacterial strains in cation-adjusted Mueller-Hinton broth and RPMI 1640 tissue culture medium. Apo6619 can be used in antibacterial research on hospital-acquired infection-related bacteria based on the iron chelation mechanism.

Apo6619 inhibits the growth of A. baumannii ATCC 17978 and 19606 in CAMHB, with an MIC of 256 μg/mL for both strains; it also exhibits an MIC of 256 μg/mL against E. coli ATCC 35718 and 43888[1].
Apo6619 exhibits MIC values of > 512 μg/mL against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, 43300, Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1, ATCC 27853, and Klebsiella pneumoniae BAA-2146, 700603 in CAMHB[1].
Apo6619 inhibits the growth of A. baumannii ATCC 17978 and 19606 in RPMI 1640 medium, with MIC values of 64 μg/mL and 128 μg/mL, respectively; it exhibits an MIC of 256 μg/mL against both E. coli ATCC 35718 and 43888[1].
The MIC of Apo6619 against P. aeruginosa PAO1, K. pneumoniae BAA-2146 and 700603 in RPMI 1640 medium is 512 μg/mL, while its MIC against P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853 is > 512 μg/mL[1].
