Chondrillasterol (12.5-100 μg/mL; 20 h) inhibits the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa by 65%, Klebsiella pneumoniae by 38%, and Staphylococcus aureus by 25%^[1].
Chondrillasterol (50-100 μg/mL; 10 min) does not cause significant nucleic acid leakage from Pseudomonas aeruginosa^[1].
Chondrillasterol (0.4-100 μg/mL; 72 h) completely inhibits biofilm formation by Pseudomonas aeruginosa at 100 μg/mL, and causes significant inhibition at concentrations as low as 6.3 μg/mL^[1].
Chondrillasterol (0.8-100 μg/mL; 24 h) completely disrupts mature Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms at 1.6 μg/mL, and causes significant disruption at all tested concentrations up to 100 μg/mL^[1].
