Leyk is an orally active Cysteine derivative. Leyk stimulates bone marrow hematopoiesis. Leyk exerts a significant protective effect against cyclophosphamide-induced leukopenia. Leyk can be used in studies related to thrombocytopenia and leukopenia.

Result:Restored the percentage of eosinophils to normal levels.
Increased the percentage of basophils.
Increased peripheral white blood cell counts.
Increased peripheral platelet counts.
Increased bone marrow nuclear cell counts.
Enhanced bone marrow nuclear cell viability.
Promoted bone marrow mononuclear cell colony formation.
Reversed cyclophosphamide-induced elevated serum G-CSF and IL-6 levels to near-normal values.
Exhibited a network analysis Z-score of 10.823, indicating significant anti-leucopenia activity.
