Tectoquinone exhibits mosquito larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus with LC50s of 3.3 µg/mL and 5.4 µg/mL, respectively[1].
Tectoquinone is a reductive alkylating agent that generates active intermediates, exhibits cytotoxicity in aerobic and hypoxic EMT6 cells with ED50s of 1.7 µM and 0.54 µM[3].
