Coumoxystrobin
Coumoxystrobin is a methoxyacrylate strobilurin fungicide with anti-fungal activity. Coumoxystrobin exhibits inhibitory activity against mycelial growth of Magnaporthe oryzae, increases cell membrane permeability, and reduces respiration. Coumoxystrobin shows protective activity against Magnaporthe oryzae in detached barley leaves. Coumoxystrobin reduces ATP activity of Chlorella vulgaris, thereby causing algal death. Coumoxystrobin can be used in studies related to rice blast disease.

Biological Activity
Coumoxystrobin (0.0025-0.08 μg/mL; 7 days) potently inhibits mycelial growth of 100 strains of Magnaporthe oryzae, with a mean EC50 value of 0.0163 μg·mL−1[1].
Coumoxystrobin (0.1 μg/mL; 3 days) exerts teratogenic effects on the mycelial growth of Magnaporthe oryzae strains L-14, L-15 and YE-9, causing mycelial tip distortion and increased apical branching[1].
Coumoxystrobin (0.1 μg/mL; 48 h) disrupts the cell membrane permeability of Magnaporthe oryzae strains L-15 and YE-9, resulting in increased cellular electrolyte leakage[1].
Coumoxystrobin (0.1 μg/mL) significantly reduces the cellular respiration rates of Magnaporthe oryzae strains L-15 and YE-9[1].
Coumoxystrobin (1-4 μg/mL) exhibits dose-dependent protective activity against the YE-9 strain of *Magnaporthe oryzae* on detached barley leaves[1].
Coumoxystrobin (0.5-8 mg/L; 96 h) exhibits acute toxicity to Chlorella vulgaris, with an EC50 of 1.62 mg/L. After 96 h of exposure, the concentration of 4.23 mg/L reduces cell yield by 97.8%[2].
Coumoxystrobin (0.15-1.08 mg/L; 24-96 h) inhibits mitochondrial complex Ⅲ activity and reduces ATP viability in Chlorella vulgaris[2].
