PD13
PD13 is an SDH inhibitor and Antifungal agent. PD13 induces cellular ATP depletion and inhibits conidial germination, appressorium formation, hyphal growth, and invasive hyphal development. PD13 remains active against various ubiquinone-site SDHI cross-resistant Magnaporthe oryzae strains. PD13 can be used for research on rice blast.

Biological Activity
제품 설명
In Vitro
PD13 (10 μg/mL; treatment at 25 °C for 30 minutes) reduces the apparent Vmax of MoSDH from 41.02 to 10.79 U/g and increases the apparent Km from 3.219 to 4.415 mM[1].
PD13 (10 μg/mL) reduces the conidial germination rate of Guy11 to 68% and the appressorium formation rate to 7%, whereas the point mutants exhibit reduced sensitivity[1].
PD13 (100 μg/mL; 24 h before inoculation; 7 days) reduces the overall necrotic lesion area of rice blast by 89%, and by 85% in Guy11, whereas the point mutants exhibit reduced sensitivity[1].
PD13 remains active against the SDHI cross-resistant M. oryzae strain SX245, whereas the point mutants exhibit reduced sensitivity[1].
PD13 (100 μg/mL; 24 h before inoculation; 5-12 days) exhibits only partial protective activity against tomato gray mold and Fusarium head blight, which is weaker than its activity against rice blast[1].
PD13 (300 g/ha) reduces the rice blast disease index by 25% in field trials[1].
PD13 (50-100 μg/mL) does not impair the growth of yeast strains AH109 or XK125[1].
