Mtb against-2
Mtb against-2 is an (E)-4-oxocrotonic acid derivative that acts as an inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein kinase B (PknB). Mtb against-2 inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in vitro, with an MIC of 0.82 μg/mL against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv. Mtb against-2 can be used in tuberculosis-related research.

Biological Activity
Mtb against-2 (compound 4h) exhibits antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv (ATCC27294), with an MIC of 0.82 μg/mL[1].
Mtb against-2 (compound 9h) (20 mM; 3.5 h) inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein kinase B (PknB) with an inhibition rate of 68.3% in non-radioactive kinase luminescence assays[2].
