Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse)  (Synonyms: Mouse ox-LDL)

Cat. No.: HY-NP013 Purity: ≥98%
Handling Instructions Technical Support

Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) (Mouse ox-LDL) is an oxidized low density lipoprotein (LDL). Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) induces atherosclerosis (AS) by facilitating endothelial dysfunction and accelerating the VSMCs growth and migration. Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) can be used to construct an in vitro model of AS.

    Description

Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) (Mouse ox-LDL) is an oxidized low density lipoprotein (LDL). Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) induces atherosclerosis (AS) by facilitating endothelial dysfunction and accelerating the VSMCs growth and migration. Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) can be used to construct an in vitro model of AS[1].

    In Vitro

Oxidized low density lipoprotein (mouse) (25-75 μg/mL, 24 h) dose-dependently upregulates the mRNA and protein expressions of long noncoding RNA TUG1 and receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 2 (ROR2); meanwhile, it promotes the proliferation of HA-VSMCs (upregulates the protein levels of CyclinD1 and Ki-67), enhances migration and invasion abilities, and increases the expressions of metastasis-related proteins β-catenin and Vimentin in human aortic vascular smooth muscle cells[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

    Help & FAQs
    • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
