Biological Activity
Phosphorylase kinase (5 min) increases its affinity for Ca2+ after activation[1].
Phosphorylase kinase is inhibited to uptake Ca2+ through the sarcoplasmic reticulum, and the addition of exogenous Ca2+ can reverse the inhibition[1].
