S-(1,2-Dicarboxyethyl) glutathione acetate (DCE-GS acetate) is a platelet aggregation inhibitor. S-(1,2-Dicarboxyethyl) glutathione acetate can be isolated from animal tissues and baker's yeast. S-(1,2-Dicarboxyethyl) glutathione acetate acts as an anticoagulant without chelating calcium ions.

Description
In Vitro
S-(1,2-Dicarboxyethyl) glutathione (0-2.5 mM; 2 min) acetate potently inhibits secondary aggregation of human platelet-rich plasma induced by ADP (HY-W010918), Thrombin (HY-114164), Collagen (HY-NP003) and Arachidonic acid (HY-109590)[1].
