(S)-(-)-Citronellic acid can be produced by oxidative conversion of (S)-citronellal using a fungal strain isolated from the exocarp of Amazonian Citrus fruits^[1].
(S)-(-)-Citronellic acid is produced by identified Fusarium strains via the oxidation of (S)-citronellal^[1].
