BP Fluor 546 DBCO is an azide-reactive probe that can be used for imaging azide-tagged biomolecules via a copper-free click reaction. The DBCO moiety reacts with azides to form a stable triazole and does not require a Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. In applications where the presence of copper is a concern, BP Fluor 546 DBCO is an ideal alternative to copper-requiring fluorescent alkynes. BP Fluor 546 is a water-soluble, pH-insensitive (from pH 4-10), orange-fluorescent dye with absorption and emission maxima at 554 and 570 nm, respectively. It can be used with the 488 nm and 532 nm laser lines. BP Fluor 546 dye conjugates to a variety of antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates, which are often used for generating stable signals in imaging and flow cytometry.

Synonyms: Reutericycline
Reutericyclin (Reutericycline) is an orally active antibacterial and anti-obesity agent that selectively inhibits Gram-positive bacteria. By selectively dissipating transmembrane potential, Reutericyclin exerts non-lytic bactericidal or bacteriostatic activity against pathogens such as Clostridium difficile and Staphylococcus aureus, and rapidly kills vegetative cells and spores of Clostridium difficile. Reutericyclin possesses favorable properties including resistance to enzymatic hydrolysis, iron-chelating function, and poor absorption by colonic epithelium. Reutericyclin not only eradicates staphylococcal biofilms and inhibits drug-resistant strains, but also counteracts Risperidone (HY-11018)-induced weight gain by inducing changes in gut microbiota composition and restoring energy utilization efficiency. Reutericyclin can be used in research related to Clostridium difficile infection, Risperidone-induced weight gain, and staphylococcal superficial skin infections .

DXB-NIR is a push-pull dioxaboron fluorescent probe with solvatochromic properties, featuring high fluorescence brightness, photostability, and a large two-photon absorption cross-section. DXB-NIR exhibits Ex/Em of 550/620–780 nm (with two-photon excitation at 930 nm). DXB-NIR quantifies local polarity via the intensity ratio I (>640)/I (<640) between the far-red channel (<640 nm) and the near-infrared channel (>640 nm), and it can simultaneously label the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, and lipid droplets in live cells. DXB-NIR monitors the increase in local polarity of various cell compartments under conditions of cholesterol depletion, starvation, and oxidative stress. DXB-NIR can be used for polarity imaging of biological membranes and lipid droplets, as well as studies related to cellular stress .

Mito-polarity is a mitochondria-targeted polarity probe. Mito-polarity can be used to detect mitochondrial polarity. The detection mechanism of Mito-polarity is based on an intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) system designed with a donor-π-bridge-acceptor (D-π-A) structure. Among them, the 467 nm green emission generated by the Coumarin (HY-N0709) structure is extremely sensitive to polarity changes, while the 642 nm red emission produced by the extended π-conjugation and ICT effect between the Coumarin and benzothiazine structures shows only a weak response, thus forming a ratiometric fluorescence response that is linearly correlated with solvent polarity. When Mito-polarity is excited at 405 nm in methanol, its excitation/emission wavelengths are Ex/Em = 405/467 nm and Ex/Em = 405/642 nm, with maximum absorption wavelengths of 426 nm and 561 nm .

Tryptophan-cholic acid (Trp-CA) is a microbial amino acid-conjugated bile acid that acts as an endogenous ligand and agonist (EC50=9.6 μM) for the orphan G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) MRGPRE (Mas-related G protein-coupled receptor family member E). Tryptophan-cholic acid is orally effective but has poor oral absorption and does not cross the blood-brain barrier. Tryptophan-cholic acid promotes the secretion of glucagon-like peptide GLP-1, thereby improving glucose tolerance in diabetic mice. Tryptophan-cholic acid improves glucose tolerance, promotes insulin secretion, and alleviates high-fat diet-induced hepatic steatosis without causing pruritus side effects. Tryptophan-cholic acid is primarily used in research on type 2 diabetes (T2D) .

tBu2bpy is a bidentate nitrogen ligand that coordinates with Pt (II) and Pt (IV) to form functional complexes. The tBu2bpy Pt (II) bis-crown ether complex selectively recognizes Mg 2+ and Zn 2+; both ions significantly enhance the fluorescence of the complex and cause a blue shift of the absorption peak. Its six-coordinate Pt (IV) complex [Pt (X)2Me2 ( tBu2bpy)] inhibits the proliferation of tumor cells. tBu2bpy Pt (IV) complexes bind to DNA through multiple interactions including partial intercalation, groove binding, and electrostatic interaction, and can competitively displace ethidium bromide and covalently bind to purine nucleotides. tBu2bpy can be used in relevant research in fields such as organic synthesis .

Fluoresterol (22-NBD Cholesterol) is a cholesterol-specific fluorescent probe with cholesterol-mimicking binding properties. Fluoresterol is ineffective orally and does not cross the blood-brain barrier. Fluoresterol specifically binds to cholesterol transport-related proteins (such as ABCA1 and ABCG1) and is primarily used in cholesterol metabolism research, particularly for the visualization and quantitative analysis of cholesterol absorption, efflux, intracellular transport efficiency, and reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) processes. The commonly used concentration of Fluoresterol in in vitro experiments is 0.1-10 μM, and the commonly used dose in in vivo experiments is 5-20 mg/kg (gavage or intraperitoneal injection), with excitation/emission wavelengths of 472/540 nm. Fluoresterol can be applied to the study of cholesterol metabolism mechanisms related to hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) .
