Leupeptin hemisulfate is a broad-spectrum protease inhibitor . By inhibiting the activation of the PTEN/PI3K/Akt/NF-κB/ERK1/2/p38 signaling pathway, Leupeptin hemisulfate significantly reduces LPS-induced NO and ROS production, mitochondrial membrane potential hyperpolarization, phagocytic activity, pro-inflammatory cytokine release, and M1 polarization in mouse peritoneal macrophages, and reverses autophagic flux impairment. It also decreases Concanavalin A (HY-P2149)-induced proliferation index of mouse splenic lymphocytes and the Th1/IL-10 and Th2/IL-10 cytokine ratios, thereby modulating innate and adaptive immune responses. Leupeptin hemisulfate inhibits blood coagulation and tumorigenesis in mouse skin. Leupeptin hemisulfate can be used in research on chronic inflammatory diseases and skin tumorigenesis .

RETRA is a RIPK1/RIPK3/MLKL and p73 activator. RETRA mediates plasma membrane disruption, induces ROS accumulation, triggers early mitochondrial hyperpolarization, and synergistically drives necroptosis. RETRA inhibits cancer cells carrying mutant p53 via a p73-dependent salvage pathway. RETRA can be used in research related to cervical cancer and cancers with mutant p53 .

T-Cadinol is a sesquiterpene isolated from C. sylvestris that exhibits anti-Trypanosoma cruzi activity, with IC50 values of 18.2 μM and 15.8 μM against trypomastigote and amastigote forms, respectively. T-Cadinol can induce mitochondrial damage in parasites, leading to membrane hyperpolarization and decreased levels of reactive oxygen species. T-Cadinol can be used for the research of Chagas disease .

RC574 is a GPx1 and GPx4 modulator that increases GPx1 protein levels and enzyme activity and protects cells against RSL3-induced GPx4 inactivation and ferroptosis. RC574 inhibits glutamate-induced ferroptosis/oxytosis, mitochondrial superoxide anion production, mitochondrial membrane hyperpolarization, oxidant production, and mitochondrial fragmentation. RC574 protects primary cortical neurons against glutamate challenge and inhibits mitochondrial superoxide anion production while increasing antioxidant enzyme activity. RC574 ameliorates motor-related behavioral deficits and reduces reactive astrocytes in the striatum in a rat model of ischemic stroke. RC574 can be used in research on neurodegenerative diseases and ischemic stroke .

CT20p is an anticancer peptide based on the C hydrophobic terminus of Bax. CT20p has a unique cytotoxic effect independent of full-length Bax, and can act on mitochondria, leading to fusion-like aggregation and mitochondrial membrane hyperpolarization. CT20p can reduce α5β1 integrin levels and inhibit F-actin polymerization, thereby destroying the cytoskeleton and preventing cell attachment. CT20p can be used in the study of breast cancer .
