Description

Silver sulfate acts as an ethylene inhibitor and a shoot regeneration promoter. Silver sulfate promotes shoot proliferation in explants of the cherry rootstock CAB-6P. Silver sulfate is applicable to studies on the optimization of micropropagation for cherry rootstocks[1].

In Vitro

Silver sulfate (10-50 μM; 12 weeks) promotes shoot proliferation in explants of the cherry rootstock CAB-6P, with the highest proliferation rate of 23.53% observed at the concentration of 10 μM[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
