Description

Tetraasterane is a hydrophobic tag that promotes the degradation of ALK protein. Tetraasterane can be used for synthesis of ALK degrader 3 (HY-182087)[1].

In Vitro

Tetraasterane (7 days) conjugated with ALK degrader 3 potently inhibits the proliferation of H3122 cells, with an IC50 of 97.77 nM[1].
Tetraasterane (0.05-2 μM; 24 h) conjugated with ALK degrader 3 induces concentration-dependent degradation of ALK protein in H3122 cells[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
